Measured and Perceived Physical Fitness, Intention, and Self-Reported Physical Activity in Adolescence

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the associations among measured physical fitness, perceived fitness, intention towards future physical activity and self-reported physical activity through junior high school years. Methods: Study participants included 122 Finnish students who were 13 years old during Grade 7. The sample was comprised of 80 girls and 42 boys from 3 junior high schools (Grades 7-9). During the autumn semester of Grade 7, students completed fitness tests and a questionnaire analyzing self-perception of their physical fitness. Educational intentions, cognitive skills and earnings expectations of French undergraduates

International audience; This article aims to study the earnings expectations of first-year students at a French university. Our findings highlight the importance of the environment in which students make their choices about education. Expected earnings are proportionally higher when their parents seem to be involved in the careers guidance, taking into account the effect of parental socio-economic status. The positive opinion of parents about the orientation or the connection between the discipline and the father's occupation are generally associated with higher earnings. Cognition and affect: A factors combination in clients dissatisfied with restaurants

On the basis of an extensive literature review of the principal theories that explain consumer dissatisfaction, we try to analyse the effect of a set of cognitive and affective variables on dissatisfaction. Cognitive variables examined were performance, expectations, disconfirmation, causal attributions and inequity. Negative affects were considered as emotional variables. We developed an empirical research to examine customer dissatisfaction with restaurants. The results indicate that the best combination of variables to estimate dissatisfaction judgements is ‘performance–inequity–norms disconfirmation–attributions’. Objectives: The aim of this prospective study was to examine the utility of an integrated model comprising constructs from self-determination theory (SDT) and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) in predicting adherence to a post-surgery rehabilitation program in patients receiving anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
